This is a work-in-progress image, not a photograph of a fully finished installation. Its value is in the close-up: it makes the individual pieces, joints, and interrupted pattern easy to see.
Consider the whole backsplash as well as the tile sample.
When planning a backsplash, show the full counter run, corners, cabinets, and openings. A tile sample alone does not show how the pattern will end at a wall edge or meet existing fixtures. Include measurements if available and identify whether the current wall surface is staying or needs preparation.
If you are repairing an existing backsplash, tell us whether you have spare matching tile. Describe the damage and provide a wider view so the surrounding pattern and finish are part of the discussion.
Include edge, joint, and access details in the scope.
Discuss tile selection, edge treatment, and the areas where the backsplash meets adjacent surfaces. Matching an older finish can be different from choosing all-new material, so share any product information you have.
A backsplash request may also raise questions about fixtures or other work around the wall. We review those requirements before scheduling. Tell us whether the kitchen will be in use, what materials you already have, and your target date so the full sequence can be discussed.
